This morning my husband and I were out for a walk in Chandler. We love to walk the Veterans Oasis Park in the morning and I decided to start snapping some photos and blogging about the area for folks thinking of moving to Arizona.
Veterans Oasis Park has a five-acre fishing lake. Catfish are hot right now. One lady had caught six decent sized catfish while we were taking our walk this morning.
There are some beautiful homes in this part of Chandler. One popular subdivision in this area is Old Stone Ranch Phase 1, which has 220 homes built in 2005 to 2013. Of these 220 homes, 133 of them have pools and 157 of them are single-story homes. The lot sizes are a bit smaller than phase 2 with an average lot size of 9,441 and average home size of 2,793. Still a great value for the location.
Old Stone Ranch Phase 2, which has 182 homes. Old Stone Ranch in Chandler has homes built from 2006 to 2012 and of the 182 homes located in Old Stone Ranch, 113 of them have a pool and 118 of them are single-story homes. The average home is 3,126 square feet and the average lot size is 12,726. As you can see there is room to spread out in this subdivision and the homes do not sit right on top of each other. The Veterans Oasis Park is so cool. We often walk through the park and then go out to the farm fields and get an additional mile in walking along the canal. This morning I snapped this photo of a large hot air balloon gliding right over the park.
